Burlington Park

A pine tree in Burlington Park.

Burlington Park is a park in East-Leeburg. It is a moderate sized park, with many banks and beautiful old pine trees that are probably the oldest in the whole of the Harvian Islands. A fountain is situated in the middle. There are two statues in the park, one of them being a group of Samoan slaves breaking the cords that keep them. Another one was erected by the Maritima district government in 2010 and commemorates the independence of the Harvian Islands.

The park is currently partly being renovated. Three oaks will be planted, one for each town of Maritima. A small square of stone with concrete banks is under construction, which can be used for small open-air concerts by local bands and singers.
